Manav Kartavya is an NGO in Ahmedabad Gujarat, which focuses on providing all-around aid to the less fortunate, through a variety of schemes and measures, from providing mid-day meals, teaching and learning equipment to schools, and training teachers as part of their child education goals, to going all the way to the other side of the human cycle and creating old age homes to counter the recent trend of nuclear families leaving their older members by the wayside. And like any other NGO, they need your help to fulfil our common goals of helping those around us.
The Act of Giving
Founded in 2015, the NGO in Ahmedabad also has other ways to help the disadvantaged reach their full potential. They have women empowerment goals and create events ranging from awareness programs about domestic abuse to employment drives so that women have something of their own on which they can rely on for steady income instead of just getting what their husband gives them. Manav Kartavya also works in trying to make vital healthcare more accessible and spreads awareness about essential preventive methods. Their work isn’t just limited to humans, however, as one of their schemes is creating safe and hygienic Gaushalas through which the lives of Gaumatas are protected and enhanced.
The Advantaged Society
Manav Kartavya’s mission is to build an advantaged society where everyone gets the basic necessities required for a happy and fulfilling life, from education to food, to employment and a place to live. A society where even living yet non-human beings is taken care of.
